Gopal Guru is an Indian political scientist and former professor in political science at the Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. He has been a visiting professor at Columbia University, the University of Oxford, and the University of Pennsylvania. He previously taught at the University of Delhi and the University of Pune. He also served as the editor of the journal EPW from January 2018 to July 2023.
